Filialhelden puts the player in charge to manage accurately simulated shops. The player takes care of customer needs, keeps the shop tidy, decides about delivery plans, costs and goods distribution and has to keep all of that in good balance. The app provides helpful background information, LMS integration and learning content and is deployed corporation-wide.

2016-18: This project - co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the EU - is developing an assessment tool for learning languages (English, Spanish, German, Italian, French) at primary school level in computer game format. The game is in its piloting stage. The Language Magician is developed by ovos together with partners like the University of Westminster and the Goethe Institut.
The app features a teacher-controlled multi-client test suite in which kids learn language (e.g. words, phrases, relations) by collaboratively solving quests and collecting "magic energy" to free haunted animals from the grasp of an evil magician.
2015-17: ovos together with the research centers AIT, the FH OÖ and Fluidtime conceptualized mobility engagement concepts within the research project Bike'N'Play. The "Bike'N'Learn" concept was ultimately chosen to be developed as prototype and was tested during summer 2017 by Viennese bikers in a case study.
The server/client-based app features geolocation-based multiplayer language learning during bicycling or walking, similiar to popular mobile scavenger hunting games like "Pokemon Go", fitness apps like "Strava" and route planers like "Waze". The players see each other's position live in their surroudings. Every participant geo-tags places with pictures and sentences. These sentences are translated to a chosen learning language and whenever someone passes the tagged area, he or she will be presented the photo along with a short language quiz, the translation and further information about e.g. the landmark.
